The development of the grapes was accompanied by a rainy June throughout Tuscany. Summer begins with a month of July that is finally hot and dry, while in August it gets cooler with the classic thunderstorms around mid-month, consequently creating a slowdown in ripening which brings the harvest date back to normal.
