Tasting Notes
The wine opens with aromas of ripe pear, lemon zest, and white peach, layered with notes of crushed stone and subtle baking spice. On the palate, it is rich yet focused, offering depth of orchard fruit balanced by vibrant acidity and a firm mineral core. The texture is broad and polished, leading into a long, composed finish with saline and citrus-driven lift.
Winemaking & Vineyard Details
Belle Cote is produced exclusively from Chardonnay grown in rocky, well-drained soils at elevation, benefiting from warm days and cool nights that preserve acidity. Fermentation is carried out in French oak barrels with extended lees aging to build texture and complexity, while careful oak integration maintains balance and clarity.
