Provenance & Masters Behind the Bottle

Chateau Haut-Brion boasts an unparalleled history, dating back to 1525. It was acquired in 1935 by Clarence Dillon, an American financier, and is currently under the stewardship of his great-grandson, Prince Robert of Luxembourg. Jean-Philippe Delmas, the third generation in his family to be at the helm as the winemaker, continues the legacy of crafting wines that set benchmarks in quality.

Vineyard & Craftsmanship

Situated in Pessac, within the city of Bordeaux, Chateau Haut-Brion’s vineyards cover 51 hectares. The unique terroir is composed of gravel over clay and sand. The grape composition is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, contributing to the signature complexity of its wines. These vineyards are among the most carefully managed in the world, and the grapes are entirely hand-harvested. The winery only produces around 10,000 cases per vintage, rendering its offerings limited and highly sought after.

Aging & Investment Value

Wines from Chateau Haut-Brion have a proven track record for aging gracefully. Given their scarcity and collectible nature, these wines consistently appreciate over time, making them highly attractive for both drinking and investment purposes.
