2001 Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon – A Napa Valley Cult Classic
The 2001 Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is an iconic expression from Napa Valley’s Pritchard Hill, a site renowned for producing some of California’s most profound and collectible wines. Known for its meticulous winemaking and limited production, Bryant Family has established itself as a benchmark among California Cult Wines. The 2001 vintage is a shining example of balance, concentration, and longevity.
Tasting Notes
Opulent aromas of blackberry, cassis, and dark cherry mingle with cedarwood, graphite, and a subtle hint of tobacco leaf. The palate is powerful yet graceful, featuring layers of ripe black fruit, mocha, and licorice, supported by polished tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish is long, velvety, and finely balanced, offering both immediate appeal and remarkable aging potential.
Winemaking & Vineyard Details
Crafted from the estate’s hillside vineyards on Pritchard Hill, the 2001 vintage is composed of **100% Cabernet Sauvignon**, fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for nearly two years in 100% new French oak barrels. The volcanic soils and high-elevation exposure impart concentration, minerality, and depth that have become the signature of Bryant Family wines.
Investment & Collectibility
The 2001 Bryant Family Cabernet Sauvignon is highly sought after by collectors due to its limited production, cult reputation, and consistent critical acclaim. With over two decades of evolution, it is now entering a phase of peak maturity, making it both a sound investment and a prized drinking experience. Perfect for your collection.
