It is currently owned by the Rouzaud family, also known for their ownership of the esteemed Champagne House Louis Roederer. The winemaker, Nicolas Glumineau, previously lent his expertise to Chateau Montrose and Chateau Margaux. Located in the Pauillac appellation, the estate comprises 73 hectares of vineyards. With soil rich in gravel over a clay subsoil, the vineyard is predominantly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by smaller amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
