At Angry Wine Merchant, we specialize in collectible wines that are sensitive to temperature, storage, and handling conditions. Due to the perishable and investment-grade nature of our products, all returns, refunds, and exchanges are subject to the strict terms outlined below.

Return & Refund Policy

All returns must be pre-approved in writing by Angry Wine Merchant within 3 days of delivery. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. To request a return, you must contact us by email at contact@angrywinemerchant.com, providing your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and supporting photographs if applicable.

Returns are only considered for unopened, original-condition bottles that have been properly stored. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or incorrect.

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for bottles that have been opened, stored improperly, or affected by heat damage, transit delays, or customer handling after delivery. All sales are final after this 3 day window has expired.

Exchanges

Exchanges are only approved for defective or incorrect items and must also be pre-approved in writing within 3 days of delivery. Exchanges are subject to product availability and are limited to the same item or a comparable replacement at our discretion.

Pre-Order & Futures Policy

Some wines are sold as pre-orders or futures. These items will ship upon release from the producer, which may take 6–36 months depending on the vintage. By placing an order for a pre-arrival wine, you acknowledge and accept the delayed shipping timeline. Estimated delivery windows are provided on product pages, and orders for pre-arrival wines are non-cancellable and non-refundable once placed.

  • All deliveries require an adult signature and government-issued ID verifying you are at least 21 years of age.
  • By placing an order, you agree to assume responsibility for proper storage and handling of wine after delivery. We are not liable for any damage, spoilage, or quality issues arising from improper storage or delays in receipt.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders affected by extreme weather conditions or regulatory restrictions.
  • Unauthorized returns, exchanges, or chargebacks will not be honored and may be subject to restocking fees and legal action.
