As a Troisième Cru Classé (Third Growth) in the 1855 Classification, Langoa-Barton offers exceptional value and cellaring potential within one of Bordeaux’s most respected appellations.
Tasting Notes
Deep garnet in color, the 2022 vintage opens with aromas of blackcurrant, violet, and subtle graphite, layered with cedar, cigar box, and hints of baking spice. The palate is finely structured with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a core of concentrated dark fruit, leading to a persistent, savory finish.
Winemaking & Vineyard Details
Château Langoa-Barton’s vineyards span 20 hectares on the deep gravel soils characteristic of Saint-Julien, planted primarily to Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Investment & Collectibility
Known for its reliability and longevity, Langoa-Barton appeals to collectors seeking a refined, age-worthy Bordeaux without the price tag of higher-ranked crus. The 2022 vintage promises decades of evolution in the cellar. Perfect for your collection.
