WINEMAKER NOTES
2023 Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon – Hillside Napa Structure
The 2023 Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the estate’s focus on hillside viticulture and small-scale production. Located on Pritchard Hill above Lake Hennessey, Bryant Family is known for producing Cabernet Sauvignon with structure, depth, and site clarity. The 2023 vintage continues this approach with balance and precision shaped by careful vineyard management.
Tasting Notes
The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, and violet. On the palate, the wine is layered and concentrated, offering dense dark fruit supported by finely grained tannins. Notes of cocoa, crushed stone, and subtle spice develop through a long, structured finish that maintains both energy and control.
Winemaking & Vineyard Details
Produced primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon grown on steep hillside vineyards with volcanic and rocky soils, the wine benefits from low yields and optimal sun exposure. Fermentation is conducted in small lots to preserve site expression, followed by aging in French oak barrels to integrate structure and aromatic complexity. The 2023 growing season provided steady ripening with balanced fruit development.
Investment & Collectibility
Bryant Family Vineyard remains one of Napa Valley’s tightly held cult producers, with limited annual production and strong global demand. Wines from Pritchard Hill are particularly sought after for their structure and aging potential, reinforcing the 2023 vintage’s position within collector portfolios.
Vintage Insights & Accolades
