Located on the slopes of Saint Emilion, the estate delivers a style that combines texture, depth, and structural clarity. The 2016 vintage stands among the most complete expressions of this property.
Tasting Notes
The nose reveals aromas of black cherry, plum, spice, and floral notes. On the palate, the wine is layered and supple, offering concentrated dark fruit supported by fine tannins and balanced acidity. Notes of cocoa, licorice, and mineral tones develop through a long, structured finish that maintains both richness and precision.
Winemaking & Vineyard Details
The blend is dominated by Merlot with a proportion of Cabernet Franc grown on clay and limestone soils. Vineyard management emphasizes low yields to enhance concentration, with fermentation carried out in small vats to preserve parcel character. Aging in French oak barrels refines structure and integrates texture. The 2016 growing season provided optimal ripening conditions across Saint Emilion.
