Produced as the second wine of the historic Clos de Tart estate, La Forge de Tart offers an opportunity to explore the character of one of Burgundy's most distinguished vineyard properties. Winemaking & Vineyard Details
La Forge de Tart is crafted from Pinot Noir associated with the Clos de Tart estate in Morey-Saint-Denis. The historic walled vineyard occupies a distinctive position in the Cote de Nuits, where limestone-rich soils and varied exposures contribute aromatic complexity and structure. Careful vineyard selection, controlled fermentation, and oak maturation shape a wine that emphasizes fruit purity, texture, and regional character.
Investment & Collectibility
Clos de Tart holds a distinctive position in Burgundy as a Grand Cru monopole with centuries of history. Although La Forge de Tart is classified separately from the estate's Grand Cru wine, its connection to this prestigious domaine makes it particularly interesting to Burgundy enthusiasts.
