WINEMAKER NOTES
2024 Eisele Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc – Precision from a Historic Napa Site
The 2024 Eisele Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc reflects the distinctive terroir of this historic Napa Valley estate. Located in Calistoga, Eisele Vineyard is known for producing wines of purity and structure, shaped by well-drained alluvial soils and a balanced microclimate. This Sauvignon Blanc continues the estate’s focus on clarity, restraint, and site expression.
Tasting Notes
The nose reveals aromas of citrus blossom, white peach, and lemon zest with subtle mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is focused and layered, offering bright orchard fruit supported by fresh acidity and a refined texture. A saline edge and clean, persistent finish highlight both precision and balance.
Winemaking & Vineyard Details
Sourced entirely from estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc, the wine benefits from careful vineyard management and selective harvesting. Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak to preserve freshness while adding texture. The 2024 growing season provided steady ripening conditions, supporting both aromatic clarity and structural balance.
Investment & Collectibility
Eisele Vineyard remains one of Napa Valley’s most respected sites, with limited production across all releases. While Sauvignon Blanc is produced in smaller quantities than the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon, it continues to attract attention from collectors seeking site-driven white wines with aging potential.
Vintage Insights & Accolades
The 2024 Napa Valley vintage produced wines of freshness and definition. In Calistoga, these conditions resulted in Sauvignon Blanc with clarity, structure, and early approachability.
